Josh Hillman, PE, PLS, is the founder and owner of Advantage Built Homes (ABH), a housing development platform created in direct response to the real-world needs he encountered while working alongside communities across Indiana. Through years of experience in land development, infrastructure planning, municipal partnerships, and community growth strategies, Josh recognized that many towns possessed the infrastructure, vacant lots, and desire for growth—but lacked a practical, scalable solution to quickly deliver quality housing.
ABH was formed out of necessity and collaboration with community leaders who repeatedly asked for a way to create visible, immediate impact while larger long-term development opportunities were being planned. By focusing on infill lots, existing utilities, strategic partnerships, and efficient off-site construction methods, ABH helps communities transform underutilized properties into attainable housing that strengthens neighborhoods, increases local tax base, and creates momentum for future investment and redevelopment.
Joshua’s vision for ABH is rooted in partnership, practicality, and building a scalable platform that helps communities grow one neighborhood, one project, and one relationship at a time.
